JILIPARTY CHARITY SHARES DIFFICULT LIFE WITH STREET VENDORS
JILIPARTY always sympathizes with the unfortunate and difficult liffe. Therefore, the alliance has organized many charity programs to better understand their circumstances and send gifts to encourage and comfort them to help them be more optimistic in life. This article shares about the situation of this disabled father who sells street vendors for a living.
Let’s take a look at these difficult life with Jiliparty. Hopefully everyone can support each other and help those in difficult situations overcome difficult times.
PITY THE SCENE OF A DISABLED MAN SELLING GOODS ON THE STREET UNTIL LATE AT NIGHT
Jiliparty Alliance charity team had the opportunity to meet and ask about Uncle Edward Terrell, a street vendor on the streets of Cagayan. When approaching him to invite about his situation, we discovered that he’s now 70 years old, with a hunched back, a skinny figure, and injured legs, limping inside the solar and rain, promoting every object on the street to make a living.
He confided that he was married and had a family in the countryside, had a daughter, but unfortunately fell ill and now can only lie in bed, unable to take care of himself, and has to run around everywhere to pay for medicine. As he spoke, he shed tears because he was so sad and pitiful.
EVERY DAY HE ONLY EARNS A SMALL AMOUNT OF MONEY TO COVER
Because his family is too poor to eat, all family members try to earn a living to take care of their daily needs and pay for medicine. However, due to his negative health, illiteracy, and inability to do different jobs, Mr. Edward Terrell can only loaf around with a road stall promoting some packs of cotton swabs, key chains, and small family items.
Every day, he can only play a dozen cards, sometimes he has to wander around many streets and sell them, only bringing back a few thousand enough to buy a loaf of bread to fight hunger.
Sharing with the charity workforce of the alliance, he’s extraordinarily unhappy that he can’t earn much, is weak, his legs have become increasingly painful, making it tough to walk, and he’s afraid that his own circle of relatives in the countryside could be in have to and could not have sufficient to eat.
JILIPARTY SHARES A SMALL GIFT WITH MR. EDWARD TERRELLL
After listening to his loyal confession, we felt the irony of his destiny and the difficult life of Mr. Edward Terrell’s family. It’s late at night but he hasn’t had anything to eat because it’s hard to sell today, so he has to sit hungry and tired under a tree on the side of the road.
JILIPARTY staff are all heartbroken by his difficult life, so they gave him small gifts and cash to help his family. Hopefully, this present may be a supply of encouragement and sharing to assist him conquer the awful days, and feature extra cash to deal with and take care of his ill daughter inside the countryside.
